Parts Counter Sales Representative
Summary/Objective:
This person will work in the parts counter, helping to identify truck parts to sell to customers in person and over the phone. They will provide excellent customer service and upselling of truck parts as well.
Essential
Functions:

Must consistently have excellent customer service
experience.
·
Refer to electronic parts catalogues and parts
manuals to identify the correct truck parts for specific make, model and year
of truck.

Ability to locate the items from the warehouse and
issue the parts and accessories to mechanics and to customers from the parts
counter.
·
Must be able to locate availability of the parts if
the dealer is out of stock.
·
Computer skills using ADP Dealer Management system
and various OEM inventory catalogue programs preferred.
·
Required to frequently
lift and / or move up to 50 lbs. and occasionally assist in lifting or moving
up to 50 lbs. using upper body strength and mechanical lifting equipment.
· Other duties as assigned.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly to stand and sit for prolonged periods of time. The employee must have a full range of body movement including use of hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, computer equipment and peripherals, bending, reaching, crouching, laying prove and move head up down and side to side. Must have command of all five senses; sight, hearing, touch, smell and taste. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. These vision requirements in each area must be sufficient to shift in focus from computer screens to forms.

Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. This position also requires travel. The employee will experience normal travel and weather hazards. Some overnight travel will be expected occasionally.
