DEALERSHIP ACQUISITION, BECOMING M&K

Grand Rapids, Mich. – Today, M & K Quality Truck Sales completed the acquisition of four Chicago-area businesses: Chicago Mack Sales & Service (Summit, Il.), Mack of Joliet (Channahon, Il.), Chicago Truck Sales & Service (Alsip, Il.), and Truck Lease Chicago (Summit). This will mark the first time Michigan-based M & K will have a physical presence in the Chicago market.

“This acquisition creates a terrific market area for our collective customers,” said Ron Meyering, President and CEO of M & K Quality Truck Sales. “We will now be able to provide unparalleled service to customers operating in the upper Midwest.” M & K currently has four locations in West Michigan, as well as in Indianapolis, Indiana, and a captive customer shop in Columbus, Mississippi.

M&K Truck Centers New Building in Kalamazoo

M&K Truck Centers, a full service truck dealership group, announced today that their new, 23,000 square foot building is under construction in Kalamazoo. Plans to re-locate from Meredith Dr to this new site and be fully operational are set for this fall. President of M&K, Ron Meyering, is excited about the opportunities with this move.

“It was necessary to re-locate so we’re able to increase our service capacity and lend additional support to our leasing customers in the area. We needed the new building to accommodate growth in demand for our services in and around Kalamazoo. Our customers will continue to receive world class service, parts support, leasing and sales from our existing team.”

M&K TRUCK CENTERS

M & K Quality Truck Sales, one of the nation’s largest Mack and Volvo dealer groups, announced today that they will begin operating under a new name and will be known as M&K Truck Centers. At the same time, the company unveiled a new identity and will soon be showing a fully redesigned web site, www.mktruckcenters.com. The company’s ownership and staff have not changed.
